does anyone have any clue as to the motor that will be going into the new datsun (logan?)? im thinking whatever it is, it could be a nice swap upgrade to the A series, while still retaining roughly the same fuel economy.

Whatever is powering the new Dacias, which is probably what the "Datsuns" will be, rebadged Dacias.

Also, these will mostly be sold in "third world" countries only. Good luck getting you hands on one.

And none will be RWD, so... Probably not gonna fit in your B210...

ha, i figured it would be a task to get one, but thought it would be cool nonetheless. the more i read about the dracia's motors the less impressed i am. the only note worthy engine is the diesel k9k which is also in the juke. all the others get around or less the mpgs i get with my a14. and its wrong wheel drive, oh well.

FWIW, a bone stock KA24E/5spd would likely offer you more miles per gallon than the A14. And more smiles per gallon too.

what's your skill level?

although most new nissans 4cyls are fwd only
something like an MR series engine could be made to work
with a bit of fabrication, sweat & tears..
