Hi Danybe and everyone,
It's nice to share your 2000GT restoration work.
You can find the manuals on my website, I scanned them so anyone who need it can use it, without buying very expensive original one, and making it dirty in the workshop.
Parts catalog and Repair manual for engine:http://www.2000gt.net/Manuels/manuels.php
I bought parts from Mr. Yoshino, in Japan, he's got all the parts you'll need, not cheap but original parts.http://www.vintage-yoshino.com/
Of course Shin can help a lot, also Maine Line Exotics and Craig Zinn (Florida) can afford parts and good advices.
The crankshaft is the same as the M engine (Crown), not difficult to find.
I'm myself restoring my 2000GT. The engine has been totally renewed and fitted in the car last year.
I'm still looking for little parts, I even don't know the name in english.
Must fit a new exhaust and change all the bushes (flexible mount ?), I don't know the exact word.
Then I'll drive it again.
The difficulty with this kind of car is the impossibility to look at another one to see how it is made and mounted.
I had to make some parts new, without any model, you can just imagine it and try.
Don't give up, I can tell you the pleasure to drive the 2000GT is a fantastic feeling, it's a great GT and you'll appreciate it on highway.
I'd like to ask you if you can tell me if the chassis number of your car is MF10-10186 ? so I can update my database. I'm trying to find out all the 2000GT still existing in the world. Only 4 cars were imported in the Philippines, and only one is red.
The white one you posted pics looks nice, do you know VIN number ?
I've been in the Philippines long time ago, and I always dreamed to go back one day. If I do so, I'll like to meet you there.
