Hey thanks :)

The KE25 i found on the side of the road, an hounded the owner till he sold it to me... been sitting in the shed ever since (replaced various bits over the past 2 years to how it is now)
The KE20 i found on trademe.co.nz was in the South Island so did a Fly, Drive, Ferry, Drive weekend trip to grab it. Paid top $ for it, but well worth it! Been sitting in the shed since then, hardly ever comes out.

Hard to find in this condition these days... they always get comments when out! Will hold onto them as long as i can, have no plans to modify them, keep them Original, toyota History!!!

Another little thing the White KE25 is a JDM version, brand new in Japan an imported to NZ in 1974. Its a SL not a SR, has factory tinted windows, few other small diffrences. Have all the original owners manuals, brochures etc for the KE2# range!

never seen a 4 door KE20 in the flesh, are they longer than the 2 door?? or smaller boot or something?? i swear my 2 door has no room for an extra set of doors on it.

very nice KE25 as well, are they the original fender mirrors??

wow those are some really clean corollas.
i see cars on here that are very clean original and i
always think they need to be shot by a professional photogragher.
jnc needs to do a calender with your corollas in a month.

Cheers for the comments guys! Haha yup NZ cars do age quite considerably, 90% are rusty or modified etc... Older cars have a huge following in NZ with ppl chucking bigger turbo/rotary motors in them etc...

Following info is going from previous experience with the older Toyota Corolla range... have owned a few in the past.

SR is the sport version has a 3k-b twincarb motor in it, wood grain dash, rev counter, centre console etc (have owned an original SR few years back)

SL is a downgraded version of the SR, 3k single carb, different trim codes etc

Deluxe usually means extra chrome/trim differances.

Both the KE25 + KE20 are Deluxe versions so have more chrome dress trim on them, also patterns in the seats etc.

My KE20 here in Australia has very little chrome, interior is very basic all compared to the cars i have in NZ.

I'm sorry to tell you but I think your white KE25 is just a deluxe version with some SL badges attached, and not an origional SL.
The deluxe and SL were two different versions, SL had chrome attached to the side quarter windows, rev gauge, as well as a 3KB engine like the SR has... In fact the SR was a SL with less luxuary to it...
No SL versions were ever sold with a 3K engine...
Your KE25 has SL (front and rear) and deluxe (sides) badges on it but outside the SL front and rear badges it has only deluxe specs...
But it's a great looking car anyway! I wished my three KE25's were looking that great...

Not mine, but a perfectly restored portugese KE25 SL...
