I went to tear a part yesterday and get the rear interior for my Corolla. This cars interior was clean as hell and I wish I had a need for the rest of what was on the car.

I didn't really do anything to my JNCs, but you can see them in the background. Bought an MX83 a couple of weeks and ago, and got rid of most of the 4x4 stance. Went from this...

To this...

Also recovered enough to cover beer costs for the work under the seat in the rear.(had to remove it to get out the rear struts)
Image

That is only about 1/2 of the change that was below the rear seat. I haven't even taken out the front seats yet. I replaced the rear springs with a set of Progressive lowering Eibach springs off a 91 Supra I found in the junkyard. I have owned them for so long, I forgot I had them. It does kind of sit like a like an old timey gasser Willys right now, but that will be fixed soon. Then I just have to get tires on the Conquest rims sitting in the back yard. Eventually the Conquest rims will go on the RA29, but I have to finish working out the 5 lug swap.

I spent the the last week adapting the front suspension off my $400 parts car rx7 onto my 78 ke30. I have had the rola for around a year now and this was the first major undertaking. Front now has tokico illumina 5 ways, ground control coilovers, needle bearing spring hats, and mazdaspeed camber plates. Rear just has a 3" block for now until I figure something out a bit more proper.

I am in love all over again!!

I pulled off the front grille for a clean and replace winkers with original style (previously fitted with wrong type). Now thinking I should leave it this way, add some H4s with integrated parking lamps, and replace existing parking lamps with orange lenses for indicators. Too rad I suspect! Neko.

Pulled the gearbox out of my white Scorpion for my sister's boyfriend, who then decided that he didn't want it anymore. Something about not wanting to get his Sigma running again because he's just going to register his AE86 and be done with it.
I approve of this change of heart

Finally got a working horn on the Corona.

Original wheel was missing the cover and horn buttons, and I couldn't source a replacement. So I decided to make the jump to aftermarket. Nardi is the eventual goal, but there is no specific hub adapter I can find, plus I can't afford a Nardi right now, so I decided to roll with a Momo in the interim.

Found a new old stock Momo factory adapter for the Corona, but it ended up not fitting, as it fouled the horn contact. Had to grind off a 1/4 inch or so of material from the adapter's hub surround, but finally the horn contact made... contact. As for a wheel, I decided to go cheap and found an OEM Saab Momo wheel I thought kinda fit the look of the car. Bought a Momo branded horn to replace the broken Saab one, and then everything bolted up nicely.

Now I have a functioning horn and with a simple bolt pattern adapter I can swap to a Nardi. Score!

Good effort - that Saab style matches the interior nicely. I did the same job this weekend myself. I was planning a period Momo, but settled on a Chris Amon from about the year my car was built.

I also started to prep my floors, and replace my 'F' temp gauge with a properly calibrated 'C' version. See ya! Neko.
