Nothing really cam, just a general look a like design by Bertone but that's where it ended...It's truly a unique car, maybe when they designed it they where planning to export but kept it in the jdm...

It's too bad they didn't. It's a beautiful machine, but I doubt it would've sold well here anyways.

My guess probably magnets that attract metal particles out of fuel and oil. Maybe during break in? I don't know how the ones on the rubber fuel lines are staying put?

What's the red reservoir on top of the engine for, and what is the pipe going off of it leading to?

I thought it might be a coolant pressurization tank, but it looks like there's one on the fender across the engine bay.

The tank on top is a coolant tank as the radiator is sealed and the other on the fender well is the expansion tank...bless

It's actually an engine oil cooler! ie. an oil to water heat exchanger concept like the series 3 RX-7 had except that it doubles up as a coolant header tank.
