I'm going to be taking tips from this thread. I have a little rust problem on my 510.

Awesome car you have there! she sure does need alot of tender loving care now under your hands. Any thoughts on giving it a proper rear c210 conversion? From MY and a C210 fan too by the way :)

Nice one. I love Japan Skylines, free her of the rust and she'll be perfect.

Well the main reasons are that, cars like that are rare, like my lil Honda, as seen by others. Took me 2 years to be where I am now

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6267

Then again, the C210 are more common than my Honda, I did saw a pristine condition one for sale on the local classifieds for only 1,300 USDs ?

http://www.mudah.my/Datsun+180K+Manual- ... htm?last=1

this would be such a demoralising thing to read for the current restorer!

haha yes, but u guys in the dutch drive in the wrong side of the road, dont wanna go for a c10 or c110, which makes more sense? haha
i started from the s600 project blindly without thorough research, but i guess i learn lots now.

its not the wrong side, its the other side :)

sure i want to go for a c10 or c110, but they are even harder to find and alot more expensice etc.
and if one of them comes for sale they are sold in two hours most of the time..

Both C210s are very nice cars! :tu: These cars are really underappreciated, personally I think they're one of the cooler Skylines...

sorry for the delayed reply.. bad thing happened between me and the guy who did the body work. Eventhough the workmanship was awesome i ended up dragging the car to other friend's workshop. Kinda lost the progress pictures but i gain some..hope it does help. This and that happened..here's the story..

So..the body was chopped and welded here and there

The transformation of a rusted piece of metal...
