Removed rear bumper (just a bit crusty rusty) and installed new headlamps since the high beams burnt out a while back.

Stripped and painted rear control arms and lateral bar in prep for new bushings. Also redid my door panels to black and also to hold 5.25 speakers.

Tripped over some alloy wheels.

Swore at the 260Z for having an unhealthy appetite for spark plugs (possibly related to its unhealthy appetite for fuel  )

Then I went and gave the Galant a thorough wash inside and out all while quietly reassuring her that she's my first true love.

Watched the chrome bonnet trim* detach itself, slide across the bonnet, and then get run over by 500 cars in the rear view mirror :)

It looks like it doesn't really stick to the metal foil that makes up the plasti-chrome. I sanded it before glueing, too

I've been going a little crazy with the random orbital polisher lately, so maybe the vibrations started a crack and the airflow at 100km/h did the rest :)

A new one is coming (not quite overnight) from Japan tho :)

Cleaner, straighter, less rusty front end. Is a mishmash of GE (guards), GJ (bumper/grille) and GH (beaver panel, bonnet) parts.
Didn't get this done today, was actually a couple days ago (I live in town, the car is on my parent's farm).

Whole week no car :x

My crappy tires finally ate it (tread came off) about a block from my parents' house Sunday night (an hour away from my place), and I was left without a spare, or anywhere open to replace...

Which meant that the best course of action would have to be leaving it at the parental home for the week, til I have time to go back for it and work out whatever tire solution I've devised (probably from Craigslist) on Saturday... While in the meantime I was offered a loaner 4 cyl. Malibu by my parents :|

Slooooooowww...
