After going through some of the impressive C10 builds on here i though i mite put my C110 build to date on here as well.

Where it all started from, i looked for a local car for about 12-15 months when a guy who had rolling sheel offered for a fair price too me.

Straight of the car trailer



The guard had been hacked, to fit the FG flares.


The bonnet need replacing or alot of fixing


The interior is in good shape.


This is how the car sat for about 3-4 months while i got some parts and saved for paint.

also brought new C110 flares but no pics of those before they went on the car.

So after waiting another two months for the painter to come look at the car, its down to there shop for some repairs and make it ready for paint.

So guards all cleaned up



Engine bay, guy i brought the car off cut the radiator support out. thinking i will weld it back in soon.

We got straight into the car that weekend, Started buy fitting some rubber behind the flares


Fitting freshly powder coated fused box


The lights and grill


Thats where alot of the easy stuff ended and started to find small bits and piece missing.

So i have just been putting things together in my spare time(limited).

The Front bummer, i took the lights back off before this picture and polished the glass and SS rings that hold them in place.


The rear bar lights fitted, i have had to take this off several times now due to small things i have forgot. Will switch to JDM lights with GTR outer ring later in the build i think.

New carpet and interior added,


First time i was able to get behind the wheel of this car


Door locks and handles, Fuel tank and feeder fitted.


car was auto so starting to change it over to manual.


Mirrors fitted back in place. Car alittle dirty been waiting waiting for the window trim clips to arrive from japan.


Parts i am missing from the door windows


The parts arrived from japan, the damn window clips are missing!!!



This is where the car is now at, hope to have the motor and box back in car in about 2-3 weeks. SS trims will be going off for restore now i have all the parts i need. The windows will go in when i find out whats happening with the clips.
Also building a new garage (as you can see current one will not cut it) so this could slow things down once approved.

Been there done that

I have removed and reinstalled tail light panel and rear bumper about 6 times. Have to remove the bumper to get the tail light panel and lights out.

Remove bumper, remove tail light panel , make up gaskets for tail lights
remove tail lights off panel, replace stainless rings that go around inner tail lights
replace tail light panel , replace bumper
remove bumper, remove tail light panel, remove Datsun badge in centre of tail light panel (held on by circular clips on inside)
replace tail light panel , replace bumper
remove bumper, remove tail light panel, forgot key barrel for the boot lid goes on first
replace tail light panel , replace bumper, decide to put boot wiring back in
remove bumper, push grommet and wiring through and connect wires to bumper mounted rego plate lights
replace bumper
think damn! I may as well put my NOS 240KGT badge on tail light panel instead of having holes next to Skyline badge.....
remove bumper, remove tail light panel, put on 240KGT badge circular clips
replace tail light panel , replace bumper and put on new washers to hold it all on! ITS ALL ON PROPERLY NOW!!!!!!!

86 AE86- need fenders, lights, rear bumper, Hood, seats, interior knobs.

Not much been happening, been getting mucked about by a Brake and clutch place.

But i have not like the radiator support being cut out so i have put it back in now.







Finally got my clutch and flywheel.

Put some windows in, took a few photos while its out in the open

More parts showed up today, finially have flywheel bolts.

Been awhile with no updates

They are not scratched just have a plastic over them.

Hmmm many months not a great deal to up date. Still waiting to get my SS trim back over 6 weeks late.

I got these parts today so need to have the flywheel machined then i mite get this motor back in. Be good to get back into this car again. Also have JDM lights on the way too.
