Since the 200SX is based on the B210, does anyone know if the strut cartridges will work in the front suspension? I can't find replacement cartridges specifically for the 200sx anywhere.

How do you figure, that a 200sx is based on a B210 ?

Aside from the 1200, all the Nissan struts use the same diameter insert. The only difference in any of them is length. If you can disassemble the strut, and tell me how deep the strut housing is, I can tell you what insert will fit it.

Option 2, Get inserts for a '79-83 280ZX. They are generally the shortest insert, and you can use a spacer in the bottom of the tube to take up the slack.

I replaced a set before when I worked at Nissan as a technician 3 years ago. Back then, we were able to still get them. I don't know if they've been discontinued since then.

Try your local dealership parts department.

I have now ordered the last 4 ACDelco front strut cartridges in existence for the 200SX. (2 for now. 2 for spares down the road.)
All that's left is one Gabriel and one Nissan oem strut. (the Nissan one is in Georgia.)

I am one step closer to getting front strut cartridges though. I found that by cross referencing Gabriel part numbers that the 200SX, 68-70 510, and 77-80 810 all use the same front cartridge.
