Ya I know its a long shot to tell ,just from these pics.

But I thought one of the "Quest Boys" could go all CSI on my TSI pics.
and find a clue.

The only way to tell is to take the wheels off and look at the back of it, it would say 16x9 0 or 16x8 0 for the rear or 16x7 16x8 for the front

You can tell those are the widebody 16x7/16x8 wheels though from the first pic. The earlier narrowbodies didn't have those and were 4 lug

Also, crawl under and check the struts & shocks: SHPs have adjustment knobs on them:

those fronts look like 16x7's, the face looks too flat to be an 8".

One way you could tell is to check the sticker on on the inside of driver door frame. If it's SHP, it will list tire sizes as 225 and 245.

also, grab the Throttle Position Sensor, I need one

Well thats the no questions in your face way to check rim size.

I like the sticker with tire size info.

I only had time to take a few pics. and have not been back to that JY yet.

an easy way to tell if there rear wheels are shp is by seeing if it has a single hump, vs the double humps a 8 has. 8 actually has more dish and a flatter spoke while the 9 has a more angled spoke, less dish and no second hump on the lip.
