You're in a really half-assed version of hell, which just means that you only get three cars to keep forever. No returns. And uhh, also, all internet is 56k, your head is screwed on backwards, and every hamburger is armed and dangerous, to make it realistic.

What will they be?

For me:

Practical- Toyota Previa SC/AWD (with 5 speed and IRS conversion, ideally...) Along these lines... For lugging surfboards in hell.

Image

For most normal things- Porsche 928 (it was nearly Maserati Ghibli, but I figured a 2+2 would be necessary, given the opportunities for entertaining interesting company which hell presents):

Image

For fun- G nose S30 on impul Hoshinos, barely care what engine, but an rb26dett would be nice, or s20, or l31 with os giken head...

...Ehh, no Hoshinos on this one, but close enough for hell...

Image

Somehow this hell would feel a bit more like heaven to me. Your turn...

"Practical": Volvo 850R wagon. Haul some groceries. And some ass. 8)
Image

"Normal Things": Skyline R33 GT-R. Because, it's what Darth Vader would drive.
Image

"For Fun": Ferrari 328GTB. Always wanted to be Thomas Magnum, and the 328GTB is more reliable than his 308GTB. :P

I never liked the styling of the 328 compared to the 308, it looks sort of like they snipped the nose and tail off... I think the 308 is nearly the most beautiful Ferrari/car ever made though, except for...

The 288 GTO. I don't know anything about that car's reliability; I think anyone who can afford one wouldn't mind if it needed to go to the shop after each time it ventured out. If I wasn't so easy to please (I just said I'd be happy in eternity with a hot rod S30, so I must be), then I'd be put at odds with all else over my longing for what is basically an F40 with an Aggro-308 body...

Yeah, but I bet that 308 has some wicked lift at over a ton... 8)

Agreed. Although the F40 is in the mix... :P

The early cars win for sound (all those Webers singing in harmony), the 328 wins for the reliable CIS. :tu:

Or split the difference and get a 308GTBi that had CIS. :P

For fun, Alfa Romeo GT

And because this scenario is the only time I'd be able to have one...

Practical: 1981 LN46 Hilux, twin cab 4WD, with an engine/trans/rear diff swap from a late 90's 3.0TD Hilux. 4" lift, 33" M/T's, air locker front, LSD rear, T04 truck turbo, wind up the boost and run shit over

Normal things: MR30 with a 300hp L30E and decent yet comfy suspension.

Fun: Hakosuka 2000GTR with a built turbo S20 (blasphemy, I know :P) and bulk handling mods. This is what I would build if I won lottery, bar the turbo S20. Would probably put the money into building a hot little L20ET instead.

For practicality and everyday use: a '61 to '67 Ford Econoline Van. I love the way the front-end looks on these things, and we all know an inline 6 is practically apocalypse-proof. Bonus: The flat floor of the interior would allow me to throw a small mattress on the floor and still have room for survival goods, like premix for my next pick.

For fun: A naturally aspirated 20b RX-7 with individual throttle bodies. Either a Series 3 or 4, I can't decide. If you're going through hell, you might as well drive something that sounds the part.

Finally, a 74 BMW 2002ti, because everyday I regret selling the one I had..

I think the trick here is sound. My eyesight is going to shit and heaven(hell?) forbid my glasses should break while I'm spending eternity in hell, I still want to be able to fire the bad boys up and drive recklessly into things while basking in the most glorious noises ever.

For boosted madness:
Lancia Delta S4 Road Version because nothing says boosted like both a supercharger and a turbocharger.

Image

For n/a madness:
Prince Skyline S54-B because even though it may not sound as good as an S20, the underdog sedan fighter character more than makes up for it (and if my glasses don't break, then I still win because, well, just look at it!).

Image

For rotary madness:
Mazda 787 B because why just have a rotary when you can have a rotary that shames F1 engines.

Since hell is meant for eternal suffering here are my choices.

Rotted out Cavalier. Not only is it an automatic and boring as hell to drive, it's rusting out in places I didn't even know it had.
This would be my only operational car, and therefore my daily driver. Its tires would leak air and its ripped up cloth interior would smell like rat piss. It would have no reverse gear and overdrive would be broken. E brake, broken. Glove box won't shut. Seats won't recline. Locks won't work. Etc..
Image

Second would be a rusty, rotted, beat to shit MGB (with safety bumpers). Not only will it soak up all my time and money just to attempt to get it running, its rotting structure would be dangerous to drive and when I did get it running it would break within a week. Oh, did I mention rats have been chewing on the wiring for 30 years?
Image

Last is a completely rotted S30 Fairlady Z. This car would sit in my front lawn and taunt me. The thought of it being restored and driveable would be the best thing in hell, but the frame rot, body damage and mechanical problems are so extensive that the thing cannot be saved. It will sit there and rust and rot until it becomes part of the dirt. I will never be able to save it or drive it.
Image

Well, that's my garage from hell! :(

I'm a rotard, so definitely a Cosmo 110S.
Image

Being Hell, the roads will probably be horrible, so a Citroen SM.
It's got the great hydropneumatic suspension of the DS with a Maserati V6.
Image

And if I need to get over those roads quickly, a Lancia 037 rally car.
Hell may have a track, you never know.
