It has been awhile and time for some updates. The 240SX has had a bunch of work done to it over
the past year and a half:

Eibach springs
KYB struts
Nismo FLCA bushings
Nismo power brace
Cusco front and rear strut bars
Moog ball joints
new radiator
new alternator
new head pipe and O2 sensor
Nissan replaced the driver's side seatbelt assembly under lifetime warranty
S14 differential with lower mileage
K & N filter and AIV delete

Here's the pics:

Were those SSR mesh wheels?

What was the size/offset and tire size?

What year was your coupe?

It wasn't until I got a hold of the factory brochures for 89 and 90 that I found the XE coupe with the sport package was only available in 90. Just like the muscle car crowd then you start to look at how many were produced with manual windows and no sunroof and it gets to be a small number really quickly.

As a sidebar I located an 89 coupe in a one year only color: lavender mist and I foolishly did not buy it! Shame was it was being sold by its original owner w/ auto. trans. and only 99k miles. She was only asking $3,000 too! Ugh.

Yeah, SSR Reverse Mesh. They are 15x7 +1, and 15x7.5 -5 both running 195/50 Yokohama AVS ES100's.

Mine was a 93 SE. I know what you mean on the options list bring the numbers down. Mine had the HUD still working and power windows, mirrors and sunroof. When I sold her, she had 146k. I really hate that I sold her, but it was either her or my 78 Corona. The way I looked at it was, I could rebuild a 240 anytime, but it would be really hard to even find another Corona.

NOOOO!! haha.. I have NEVER seen that color in real life! That a gorgeous color.. I hope it went to a good home otherwise. I know you would have taken exceptional care of it. I just hope some beginner drifter kid didnt get a hold of it, spray it flat black with a rattle can and drop an SR in it. haha

I love your collection of Z's, man. You couldnt have chosen a better color to collect, too.

Unlike the new Enkei 92's I wish SSR's would put this wheel back into
production!

93 SE coupe would be a fun ride. One of my friends in the Z Car Club of No. Va. is about to remove his stock KA24DE w/ 80k from his 97 S14 and I might grab that engine and harness and swap it into my S13.

Unlike the Corona the S13's are still easy to find but they are getting more scarce in stock and non rusty condition! I still regret selling my 72 Daruma--I wonder if it is still in NC?

Lately I have been obsessing about getting another MA70 hardtop N/A. Talk about tough to find with original paperwork and non rusty and unmodified condition!

Thanks for the Z comment--I just sold one of my 77 280Z's this past Sunday. It makes more sense for me to concentrate on the 3 I have left. The latest Z is a one owner 78 burgandy 280Z from Southern Ca. The original owner had it on non-op since 2006 and moved across country to Md. in Feb. 2010 and never had it running out here.

I think I will begin to prep my 86.1 hardtop Z31 for sale later this spring--I really only need/want the 86.2 hardtop Z31. Gotta make room for an MA70 to keep long term!
