Hello Everyone,

I came across a girl from so cal who is 22 years old and is dying from Leukemia unless she finds a bone marrow match.
I am asking everyone to step up and help save a person's life. We take our health for granted and to see someone else so young dying is just sad. So please help by becoming a potential donor. All you need to do is sign up and send in a swab of your cheek cells.

I gave a blood sample about 4 years ago to try and help a cousin who also suffered from leukemia, so I should still be on the list..

Wish you all the best... My (half) brother had bone marrow cancer and required a transplant, I threw my hat in the ring, that's when I found out that my exotic racial mix made me a match for approximately no one else in the world.

I certainly sympathize with your cause.

did some quick research on the topic and it looks like her best chances of a match will come from somebody in her ethnic community
having said that, the national bonemarrow database has far fewer minority donors..

Thanks for chiming in guys at least....regardless everyone should contribute because you can possibly save someones life.
