A few weeks age we cruised to the Chrysler Bar here in South Australia, it is right next door to the Mitsubishi manufacturing plant.

Even had a S-G member turn up in his Sigma/Galant station wagon that he converted into a panelvan, complete with old school wheels and custom paint. :tu:

Hope you like the pics. I am going on another cruise tomorrow night so will see if I can get some more pics.
Also on the 26th of this month I am entered in the All Japan Day so should get some nice pics of lots of South Australian JNC's

Before I didn't really care much for those JDM tails, but now that your car is complete they seem to be growing on me.

They are stock tail lights from the 1975/76 GD model here in Australia. They have a different rear panel so won't interchange with my 1974/75 GC model.
Not my receptacle for warm beverage

Yeah it's weird sometimes when you see parts in context, they can suddenly look ok lol. You're right it is like the musclecar version, I frickin' dig it man, it's sooooo clean! Now that Chrysler bar,...is that like a bar bar!?

Thank guys

Yeah, the Chrysler Bar is an actual bar. I will take some pics inside next time, it is pretty cool.
They have nose cuts of Australian Chryslers on the walls and a full size side cut of a VH Charger :o

Do they pay much homage to the Australian built Chrysler badged Mitsubishis? (yeesh, talk about an identity crisis!)
They would have rolled down the same production lines as many a Charger, Valiant or Pacer (only ours came out of boxes, not the metal press  )

Pre-mitsu mitsus tend to get a bit left out in Australia, it always feels as though neither the Chrysler groups or Mitsubishi groups include us :|

lol, cheers Matt, hugs are always accepted

Nah TJ, same old story mate. I think there is a VJ nose and CM/L nose, a Charger tail and a Charger profile.
No Lancers, Galants, Colts or early Sigmas.
I have just joined the Street Machine Association of South Australia (SMASA) and they welcomed me with open arms.
I have found the Valiant/Chrysler clubs didn't think the Galant fitted and most Mitsubishi clubs aren't interested because it isn't and EVO.
Even lot's of the JDM clubs don't care if it isn't a drift car or old RWD Toyota.
