Was lookin for options on my 84 cressida suspension.
i can find lots of options for a 83 and 73 and was wondering if anyone has tried that suspension on the 63. Ive heard of usin other suspension from other cars but none of them have been clear to me i always find fourms that contridict eachother so i was wondering if any one has a clear answer.

Just spend money. Nobody is going to tell you it works. If you really love the car, and you really want a part, you will make it fit. If you have a Cressida, and a especially an X6, you need to be willing to cut/weld/drill/modify existing parts to fit. If not, you will be on a depressing downward spiral until you sell the car for a Corolla.

Front are SerialNine adapters with S13/14 Stance GR+ Pro struts (10k) with S13 camber plates. The camber plate orientation on the S13 is the same as the X6, just drill out the holes in the body or file them until the plates fit. The tension rods I made myself from parts available through summitracing.com and Ace Hardware.

The rear trailing arms I modified to use a standard NASCAR size spring (500lb rate ~9k). I also used some old seatbelts to act as limiting straps which IS VERY F'ING IMPORTANT. Some people have used AE86 rear springs with adjustable seats, but I couldn't find them at the time I was doing my setup. Rear shocks are just the Tokico blues, I haven't had time yet to make my own adapters for QA1 double adjustable shocks.

The rear trailing arm bushings weren't available anywhere, so I measured them, contacted Energy suspension and spoke with an engineer, who verified they are the same as the Celica Supra, and if you check the catalog, the X6 should now have rear trailing arms bushings available (same part number)

I have mentioned this all before in other threads related to the X6. Search "MX63" and you'll find them.
