I only managed to find 3 out of 4 when I picked up these wheels from the local pullapart, so I'll have to wait until I can see if my buddy's machine shop can make one.

You know, in an odd way, I love those wheels on there. You get props from me on that. Not enough to offset the negatives with the tow hook, stickers and exhaust, but you get props.

It's not hurting anything, I don't think.

Done, I can't wait for coilovers to get here.

I used to like this car.

It's a good thing it doesn't snow in Louisianna. What happens to all the water from a pouring rain? I can see some little kid getting a very quick lesson on the meaning of hot. :)

it doesn't get too hot from what I can tell, I've scraped myself on it a few times getting groceries out of the car and forgetting to look where I step and I have yet to get burned or even cut. If a kid grabs it... then it'll get an early life lesson on shit not to touch, my little brother learned his life lesson on a stove... I'd say this is way less painful.

As far as rain, there's a drain hole in the bottom.

The towhook will prolly be tossed eventually, its just a remainder from random shit I had on my Honda Fit. The stickers.... the stickers I'll never have enough of... (I plan to get a few more at least on the back, and then fill up the two rear side windows.. and then there's the old school towtruck shop looking vinyls I'm drawing up for the front doors)

Lastly the exhaust.... I want two pipes of the same size.. or maybe a bigger one.

When my buddy had the wide open stinger on his Beetle, he plugged it with a tennis ball with a rope knotted through it.

Found a mudflap to put on the drivers side and after going through 7 sedans at my local pullapart.. FINALLY A NON BROKEN CORNER LIGHT!!!!!!!!! Now if I could only find the rear flaps....

Image

Went to a local car show and left early so my buddy Derek could do a small shoot for a feature on a blog he works for, unfortunately the photos didn't come out as well as he hoped so we're gonna reshoot at a later date. By then I plan to change up the car a little bit, but I'll save those details for a later post :3 (it happened after these pictures but some of you will be happy to know that the tow hook is indeed gone now.)

Nice to see an ef sedan on here. I've owned one ef hatch and a couple of 88-91 CRXs. I'm currently "restoring" my CRX to the way I would have wanted it when I had my first CRX back in college. Mostly stock in appearance - just slightly lowered with GC coilovers and Koni yellows, and typical header/CAI/exhaust.

So, I'm biased but I think the EFs do belong on here.

Was driving along yesterday... and POW.. rad hose had a blowout.

Image
Bleh, that hose did always look kinda worse for wear.

Image

My whole bay really could use a good cleaning/tidying up. But I'm not sure where to even begin with that job.
Image

Also. I trimmed the exhaust a bit.
Image
I like it like that although I kinda want something else eventually.

Today I learn that a fresh set of spark plug wires can do wonder for your idle, start, and even nurse a bit more power from the old D15 (at least that's what my butt dyno tells me)

Also just place an order for some new side mirrors since I nearly ripped my passenger side clean off playing chicken with a big domestic car.

Well I sold those Centra 7's and picked up something a little more traditional for the time being.

Fresh wash and a fresh set of HX's!

It's on the list of things to do, but I have a rare medical condition called laziness. It sucks but I hear they are working on a cure.

My passenger mirror has been broken for a while and it inspired me to finally make a stop by my uncles shop and get him to cut me out a blockoff plate. Fits pretty good just need to shape it, clean it up and spray it black and I even managed to reuse the gasket from the mirror so no leaks!

Also got the door panel off to try to finally get at fixing my passenger side window. Turns out the previous owner didn't even have the motor attached..... it was just hanging loosely inside the door frame. It looks like I'm gonna have to raid the local yard for some bolts for the motor since they are no where to be found. Luckily it seems the motor is just fine and I just need to get everything bolted up and back on track. I have a few friends at a glass shop and I'm gonna get them to check everything out before I finally put it all back together.

Hopefully I'll have some money coming in by the end of the year and I plan to get under the hood some more and clean everything up a bit while I'm in there to toss on some go fast goodies. I also plan on swapping to manual as soon as I manage to finish getting all the parts I need to do the job some time early on next year.

Honda actually made a block off plate for that mirror, they came on the dx's and base wagovans. My 90 dx came with one. BTW that exhaust was awesome.
