Hi guys, well im the lucky one to get the bringatrailer mark II. I was wondering where i could find some parts for it like the winshield seals and door rubbers, might they still be available, does toysport have em?

I dont have pics, yet, but will be on shortly.

I don't know about the window rubbers, but the windshield seals might still be available from toyota. I know that a bunch of the seals for the first gen celica are still available from toyota.

Ive been doing a little research, there is not much info on mark II, i have yet to find prduction numbers and facelift. He had it listed as 72, but that year overlaps with gen I. so i was starting to think it was a 73.

I had to put the car in storage due to severe raining, ill go get it out soon and look at the plate.

2m?? Are you sure it's not a 4M?
As far as the seals go they were not available from toyota. I found mine at a local upholstery supply shop. They matched them up with some bulk seal they had and I just cut them to shape for my wagon. I think the seal itself only cost me like 60 bucks. I know total in the car I spent close to 200, but I did all the window channels, door seals, hatch seal and a few other bits. So it was money well spent to me. Now the car is water tight and has no wind noise. If you can't find it locally let me know. I'll help you out with them.

thanks pertano, i love your wagon, and your celica.

I just found them from australia, on ebay. 100 each. not cheap. but they supposedly fit well So i took the hit.

Im torn with this car, i love the way it is, but i also want to mod it and put a better engine, however, newer engine means different gauges.

Ill start to change the spark plugs, and clean the carb, fix the seals, and fix some rust spots and go from there....

i posted the link to the seals in the ebay section, only 4 left.

why in the world would a new engine mean different guages? If there is a will there is a way.
I was considering buying that car as well. It just was too damn original for me to get cause I had plans to modify the hell out of it too. I have just got another TE27 though so I think I am good for a few years with that one.

Either way can't wait to see what becomes of the girl. It's definately a great place to start. Good luck and I'll be keeping up with the progress.

Car looks really nice. I'd consider a 5 speed swap before a motor swap if she runs ok.

well i dont know. right now with rebuilding my RA24, im not doing anything to this one...

well maybe a few things

like the ugly black anchors on the side.. :td:

Image

swap them for something better, (tires were rotten anyways, i had these to spare...)

Image

and set them aside, in storage..

Image

oh and something more classic that wont hurt to grab, the steering wheel had cracks, i had this one lying around...

Image

Bit closer..

Image

i also changed spark plugs and air filter, but it bogs down ocassionally when i give gas, whichs means the tank is dirty or it has water, next thing on list. But ill return it to storage, until i get more work on my RA24..

 I know, but had no choice, the old tires were rotten and almost 15 years old, and these supras came with almost new tires for 100 bucks, so now at least i can drive it safely..

i was thinking of getting these to shine.. if i dont sell them first.

Image

if not maybe recoat the old rims, idk, in the mean time i will finish off these tires...

I think the above rims would look real good on her after being cleaned up.
