I'm not sure but if they're 73mm, and the pin and compression height are the same then they should work. I do know the a13 is the same bore, just not sure on the a14.

The cyl are 75mm wide And there flat tops

ok, thanks for checking. Do you know if a10 pistons are available new in 73.5 mm? Since these were'nt imported here i'm unable to source them in socal.

I have a 59 1000, we got the engine rebuilt in Surrey, BC, Canada - she was a
first anniversary present - also from a dealer who had it in his showroom, but she got caught in a flood and has some parts that needed replacing and the interior is shot. Yours looks great.

thanks, too bad about the flood.. Do you have the info from the shop that rebuilt your motor? I've sourced most of the parts, like bearings and gaskets from the j13 motor, but would like to get some input from the builder if possible. I'd like to see pics of your 59 too.
