Thought its time I started a build thread. Not much "build" but theres some progress with my '76 Datsun Z

The day i got it in California.
Image

The car came with the stroker engine (LD28 crank, bored .20 over flat top pistons, ISKY .429 cam)
Image

Then i got smaller tires and painted the stock wheels red for the lawlz. Car sat high as FUUUU
Image

Everything was in pretty good condition besides the frame rails. Pretty rusty and smashed up.
Image

Then i got tired of being a lifted truck, and i still am but i threw on some coilovers (ground control)
Image

car sat at this height for a while
Image
Image

just recently slapped some longchamps (not replicas) on it
Image

probably gonna be like this for a while. will make more posts when change happens lol.

First black Datsun S30´s were the 1978 Black Pearl Edition 280Z which was actually a test to see if black should be added to the colour options.

Looks good in black with those Longchamps though. :tu:

Longchamps are 15x7 all around with +12 offset

The Color is a custom PPG black with blue/red metal flakes

but yes they did have a special pearl black. not my color tho :)

you're gonna need some pretty big spacers to get them to fit. i got about 1.5 inch spacers in the back, 1 inch in the front (need bigger ones). good tire size is 195/50 or 55.

...Lol. I can/will daily any car that runs and has working AC, but I respect anyone who can manage to drive a car that low, and endure all of the pennies and pebbles that then present themselves as obstacles.

Made some eyelids today out of electrical tape. The look pretty damn mean, think I'll keep them for a while.

Decided to just do a regular rebuild of my 3.0 and switch to early round top S.U's..

going to fix my suspension. koni reds and 8kg springs (front) 10kg springs (rear) and slam it to the floor (lay frame).
