Thanks for all the info. I've been on JZX project just to lurk, i don't post anything there cuz, like you said, they're a bit harsh hahaha. As far as being a newb goes, i am in terms of what fits what but in terms of the labor involve, i turn a wrench for a living so i think i'll be straight. i just figured i'd ask guys that know what's up rather than figuring it out the hard (and expensive) way. Yeah i haven't been into S13's for a few years now that they blew up. i was driving an BMW E34 530i and swapped that to 5-speed but parts were so damn expensive so i just got rid of it and got a used my brothers Corolla since he picked up a MA70. then the Transmission went out and I had to change THAT for him. the S13 was just in the garage collecting dust in the garage until i got the Cressida... then i sold that damn curse hahahaha

There's a haggard (but sadly really, super clean) MX73 drift car around the Detroit area. It's just the stock 5M with a 5-speed swap, but it gets sideways... mostly because the driver simply doesn't care how hard he wails on it, as shown here:

I don't think Cressidas will take over drifting because S chassis cars will always be the easiest route. :/ Just how it is.

Either way, very nice car OP! Auto or 5-speed?

Oh, I meant newb as in just joining the board, not new to cars. If you even ask about an M series over a JZX, they pretty much string you up  I figured if you were asking about 5 speed swaps and had an S13 you knew your way around a wrench. I have a friend with a new-ish 3 series and I hear ya about expensive parts. 200$ for O2 sensors alone in the last tune up. Glad to have you over here and feel free to ask away!!!
