How low is your oil pan with those mounts? Engine sitting nice and low in bay, amazing!

Glad you found a company that makes the mounts, I know you've been bugging OSG to make copies of mine for a long time. 8)

Stick with this man and do ITB's and forget about the 1UZ. :tu:

Thats awesome :tu: Im not a huge poster here but do browse alot. I have a X31 coupe and fitted a vvt n/a 1jz but I had to stop to sort other cars (datsuns) Will keep watching your build. These motors fit so well with mine being RHD I only had to worry about the exhaust and steering box.

Yeah oil pan is 2inches BELOW the xmember. Nothing a couple of hockey pucks wont solve ;)

Great stuff.....I love hockey pucks....made a custom mount for my new gas pedal out of hockey pucks! Needed them to get proper mounting angle and distance.

wish I would have known about those excessive mounts a couple months ago when I made my mounts.....would have saved me a lot of time and trouble :(
Great find!

I had real problems with the header clearing the idler arm, there's not alot of space there.....had to custom weld and modify the bottom of my header because of this.....
Another way around this is to just change to rack and pinion....that would delete the idler arms and brackets on the frame and free up space...I am thinking of rack and pinion in the future anyway....probably should have put the work into converting rather than the time and money into modifying the header....live and learn

the width of the later gen cressidas are only one half inch wider or so, ...I imagine x7 or x8 steering racks will work in our cars. Pretty sure they could just bolt up to the front crossmember withsome brackets like in this pick (which is an mr2...but also looks like an mr2 rack could work as well)

NOT the way im leaving it, probably painting the intake piping black, along with black couplings, and a silver filter(just looks horribly CHEAP to me as it is)
