we're getting really close with putting the MR2 back together & getting it registered etc but we prolly won't make a meet till after the new year (being realistic) but we will make it out again i promise.
i just don't feel right coming out with my camry & the celica isn't that healthy motor-wise so i don't want to drive it anymore than i have to really.

I have four, but they are on the celica. There is a junkyard nearby that has at least three, but he would want 25 apiece for them. Jeff has been there. I can try and make a run out there before the next meet and grab them if you want. Of course, that means that you wouldn't get them till the meet.... Or I could give you directions and you could come get them. It is just a short three hour jaunt north.

MR2 is hopefully getting the engine put back in this weekend...just depends on the weather really.
don't want to deal with rain on Sunday (no garage, just a carport)

We won't make a meet till sometime well after New Years 2012.
Too many life things going on that have to be addressed, but I think y'all will be suprised with the new chassis & changes once we bring it out.

Have fun & post pics of the meet :tu:

Yeah was really cool to see everybody. We had a heck of a trip home. Some of the strongest rain I think I have ever driven through. At one point we were doing aobut 25 on I-35. Just took it nice and slow and eventually made it out. The celica ran really well for its first long trip. I did have some temp issues towards the end, but turns out it was actually an oil issue. I guess I really need to fix that breather on the valve cover. Hopefully, the next one I make will be in the cressi wagon.

Yes! The wagon! Even with it dumped on its guts, my MX72 was the best road tripper.

Hey Costa, we are thinking of trying to start something like that here in OKC. I will keep you updated on the progress. There are a bunch of ratsuners in the area as well. Figure we can do our own JNC-ish meet.
