http://www.pbase.com/mtb_zack/dpmr2&page=allI'm a racer/rulemaker and a 2200-2300lb car these days is considered light. The earlier cars 85-86 are at the low end of that range. Look for a hardtop, without the OEM wing, none of the factory frunk bracing, and the base seats.
My car is losing even more weight in the coming weeks because I need to move weight around to make it handle better before September. After that, I'm converting the steering rack to an electric power steering system, the front suspension will be a double A-arm, and we're building a front splitter.
