Hey guys,

I haven't posted in ages but have snooped at the forum here and there from work pretty regularly. I thought I'd put this up to see if I can drum up some support from the JNC family. Mitsubishi Australia is running a competition called "Love that Car" and the Community Manager for MMA took the time to register on Sigma-Galant.com to entice some older car entries. Now, winning the competition would be sensational for me personally, however I reckon even having an older car making it into the top 12 would be great for the old school Mitsubishi community. Now my loyalties with historic Mitsubishis are split between 60's Colts ( technically nothing to do with MMA who have only been around for 30 years ) and my 80's Sigmas. So I decided to sneak in some publicity for the old Colts but recognise the MMA produced Sigmas by doing a short vid with all 3 cars together. Here is the link:

Apart from the embarrassing nature of the vid ( my mates will never let me live it down! ), I think it might give some recognition to each of the types of cars. It's a grey area I guess - the Colts are imported and 100% Japanese however don't really fit under the heading of MMA. The Sigmas do but aren't Japanese spec.

So any way, I guess this is a shameless request for votes but also a way to promote the old school! Thanks in advance for any votes cast

I noticed one of their ads recently had some older cars in it but nothing older than late 90's at best

It'd be nice to see them recognise early Mitsubishi here in Aus, even if it was technically through another company.

Yeah for sure! It's a shame the guys with Galants can't enter coz of the Chrysler badging. I'll be keeping an eye on the site to see if any other cool old cars pop up

The coupe wears the triple diamond on the grille centerpiece. Mind you its about the size of a 5c piece

Update on the comp. I held 3rd in the video category for ages but unfortunately a few newer cars have pulled ahead. We're starting to see some cool older cars now though including 2 Sigma Turbos. Here's my link for anyone that ones to vote:

You can vote for as many videos and pictures as you want, just one per entry per day. Have a browse round check out the other cool Sigmas too if you get chance .

If any of you overseas guys can spread the word and get more votes for my vid, that would be great! It seems in Oz, the leading videos for the Mirage, Pajero, and Evo/Pajero are more popular and they're pulling ahead a fair bit .
