I trying to find out how many people would be interested in purchasing a complete or individual gasket/weatherstrip set for Corona Mark II 1972 - 1976 MX20/MX23 or RX20/RX22/RX23 chassis codes. I just pulled my windshields out of my parts car and managed to save most of the gaskets. If there is interest I am going to start trying to get quotes and possibly send in my gaskets for duplication. I am going to try to get information on as many weatherstripping as possible including the trunk, front windshield, rear windshield, side rear windows (between two roll up windows), upper window channels, and door seals to maybe get a complete set put together for anyone interested. I have a couple of companies to check out if anyone else has any companies that they would like for me to check give me a shout and I will check on them as well. I know there are a few out there interested since this has been talked about before... sorry I don't remember exactly who right now.

Best Regards
Aaron

Hi,

I'm interested. I've made a simular topic in the past. I went to a couple of companies here in Belgium but they were all way to expensive.
I hope you have more luck.

grtz

OK sounds good. I will get with some of the companies and see if we can get something figured out. Smetje you interested in full kit or just front and rear windshield? If anyone else is interested please let me know... I am sure it will be cheaper the more people we get.

Most important is the back window, I would like to have 2 off them.
But, depending on how much it costs, I would take the full set.

Ok, so I received a few replies. Most of them were bad news... Got a few possibles. Talked to a Japanese national that was really suprised to see my car. He told me he drove one of the exact same cars 35 years ago. Gave a number to call to talk to that he said that I could order all the seals from. I am still exploring the matter. Unfortunately I do not speak or read Japanese. I will have to go talk to the guys at our information center and have them give them a call for me. I will let you know more as the details come.

Got some good news. I have sourced a company that will make the rear windshield seal, working out the details for the front, doors, trunk, body to window and rear quarter windows. Before I refer you to the company I am going to order one, and test fit it to make sure that it is legit. Just giving you guys some hope that I am making progress on the matter. Will update more when I know more.

Best Regards
Aaron

Hey Matt,
Will do. I want to make sure that they are a reputable company before I post up their details. Don't want to refer all you guys to a crappy source.

Hey man, I would have but I am not 100% that they are going to work, all I could give were the dimensions on the one I have. Don't worry though, I will get you the hookup when I know for sure

Got the windshield weatherstrips in yesterday. Test fit them to my parts cars windshields. They are really good quality, Seem to be as good or better than oem. If anyone is interested, I can get them for $100 for front or rear weatherstrip + shipping costs or $200 for both + shipping. These fit late 1972 - 1976 Corona Mark II 2 door hardtop (coupe). I can also get them for the same years for the sedan version as well. Please let me know if your interested. I am working on getting a group buy. The more people that get in on it, the better chance we may be able to get a group buy. Sorry for the dirty windshields in the pictures.

I am working on the other weatherstrips as well. Upper door channel, lower door, quarter window, and the weatherstrip between the door and the window. I will let you know as soon as I know anything on them

Sorry JZ,

No luck on wagons because I have nothing to compare it to. They may be able to make it but I don't have anything to give them dimensions or anything.
