What do you do for security?

Like lotatoyota, mine doesn't run at the moment either. Arnie took the wind out my sail to get it running when he changed the smog check exemption from a rolling 30-years to pre-1976 only.

I have an alarm in my Celica. But we all know that nobody pays attention to the siren so my plan is to move it from the engine compartment to the passenger compartment.

That sounds amusing but it would only work with sedan-style cars with full window frames. On coupes such as the Celica, the problem is if the "glass" is too strong, thieves only need to pull the window outward and reach in. This was one way to steal coupes even with the factory glass...

But I was just wondering what you guys do to increase security for your beloved cars.

I know we can do hidden fuel pump cuts for newer cars with electronic fuel pumps. But what about cars with manual fuel pumps?

Alarm systems are kinda useless. Steering wheel locks? Pedal locks?

Any suggestions?

in my case,i never parked my cars alone on the streets,NEVER!!!
well ofcourse ,.. i did it a few times cause i had no choice but luckily nothing happened.
but theres was a time when i had to parked my nostalgic corona in front of my house
cause i had to work on clients cars,,,so besides the praying :lol:

i removed the rotor ,cables,and coil cable, those nights .

I've got a plan for mine. It currently doesn't run but when it does:

remove steering wheel
remove fuses
remove one rim (relocate car every 72 hours for stupid HOA).
no stereo - no problem

What do you do for security?
