Got the dash LED light upgrade done:
Image
The final part was the warning lights which the red LEDs had just come in.
Now have to go back to bulbs on the dash turn signal indicators, the LEDs are f'n blinding at night!

Well a few days ago I swapped the alternator on the Cressida

then out of an annoyed rage I ripped out the duct tape headliner...

So I guess im recovering my headliner now properly, not with duct tape like the previous owner.

Installed working AC!!!! of course, now summer is almost over... Still, it is expected to hit over 100 for the next few days. I ended up using a tensioner pulley from a 7M and the compressor off an 83 celica 22R. Suprisingly enough, it all fit and worked like a charm. Now, as long as it holds pressure, we should be good to go!!! Nice enough, when I install the 22R hybrid, it will all fit right back in.

Oil change today on the coupe, probably the first one in several years:?, got new tires last week 175/80/13s, rides so much smoother now. Though it could use some new motor mounts and bushings soon.

I see that light mod a lot on bosozoku cars, can you align the lights like that or do you actually modify the housing? That car needs its own build thread. 8)

My opinion on Build threads, build threads should be more than just someone lowering a car, adn slapping cool wheels on. and really thats all ive done, no fancy swap, no major mods. just simple shit that takes me an hour max to do.
i don't feel like my car is worthy of a build thread. but whats funny, the car that DOES deserve a build thread, is un noticed lol

As for the lights, Im sure most people use some secure way to mount their headlights in this fashion, I on teh other hand, used a series of zipties, so yes i have adjustability, but probably not the best solution, but we'll see :)

Pulled a '79 Mazda 323 hatch from a seriously overgrown yard as part of a bulk car purchase on Wednesday. It was keyless so today I took the time to remove the switch from the bottom of the ignition, cleaned the battery terminals and hooked up a battery. Turned the screwdriver and after a few cranks she fired right up. Runs sweet as, a good wash has it looking pretty respectable and there's no rust at all. Score!

Can't believe they were going to send it to scrap. Thank god I got there in time.
