Hey People

For those of you who dont know me my name is Marc and i have a Dr30 which im building etc and i also run a Pedders store in Melbourne Victoria it located in Brunswick this store has had its issues in the past how ever im new to this store having worked at South Melbounre previouslly.. bla bla enough about me!!

The importanting thing is i love old jap cars of any type so im happy to take the time to resolve any issues you may have with your steering suspension and brakes if your in the area, of course most of the same rules apply to parts being a bit hard to get etc but i will try (i dont have any magic tricks) but i dont have the attitude of "its to hard" and ill do a top quality job and give you strait answers!

i hope this is a help to some of you out there.

Hi there and good luck with it! I like the pedders stuff, and i used to work for them too, only stopped because distances to get to work were starting to get to me.

Thanks for that bud it is good stuff.. But my store is also a whiteline performance centre, and I stock and or supply bilstien, koni, kyb, and tien.
I'm also happy to fit stuff you may have etc

wooo! its good to see other enthusiasts in melbourne.. ive got a mitsubishi cordia with a VR4 in it, maybe you can help me with why my steering tracks out!

Ahhh good to hear. I've got an rs41 crown, and will need some suspension and no doubt some love for the unboosted 4 wheel drums. I'll keep you in mind

Woo hoo someone relatively local. Do you do alignments, Marc? I have a Datsun 1600 with coilovers front and rear, adjustable rear x-member, and front camber tops. I'm looking for someone who can work with old and low cars and give me advice on how to best set the car up, not just align it how they want and then give it back (which is what usually happens).

^ God I fucking hate that. Went to Balwyn Tyres years ago with my 1300, told the guy what I wanted etc, he goes "mate, I've got a $50,000 machine that tells me how to set it up". I turned and walked out. Went to Donellans in Box Hill with another car, got the alignment sheet afterwards, about the only thing the aligned properly was toe, camber and castor were way way out. Wtf? I reckon I've been to about 9 different tyre places around Melbourne, only 2 I would ever go back to. They're all dumb fucking failed mechanics.
