My new Honda 600 to be restore

Hello all:

I never had the oprtunity to know this place but since i bought my first Honda 600, like first time i saw it i really liked it, now I want to know more about the car and history behind.
Well, as you can see it is a piece a collectors item but needs a lot of TLC, so that means i will need a lot of parts little by little.
This is a project i always wanted to do and see the transformation of one's person persistance along with my little 5 year old son, that eventually he will inheret it. I want it to do it for him as well as teach him basic values with that.

I will thank all your comments and eventually help to sell parts when needed.

quite the project you have! will be a wonderful piece to teach your son about along with the values behind it. sad to say i never had that opportunity with my dad. would love to turn back time and try things again =]

Welcome aboard!

So cool to take one that's so far gone and bring it back.. tenacity will win- sooner or later

I can only add that when you need some odd little knob or fixture, don't be afraid to ask if someone has one.. you'll find lots of needed parts right here.. also, I've always regretted not having more pictures of my projects during the build process.. I now find myself taking pictures of even the slightest mod/repair or bit of fab.. it will be amazing to see how far you'll take this car with the photos to look back on..

Thank you ccrunner, jdmda7, snow for your comments, this is great to know that I'll be not crazy to restore this piece of history.
I want to let you know that i was able to find the original tires and the best is that are NEW!... when i saw them i got really excited because i tried everywhere and nothing. i still need to get a fourth one but the same guy is going to get it for me. So i'm going to be able to put it on wheel and roll it back to clean the motor.

I'm looking now for a steering wheel and oiutside door handle for the passenger side, if any body knows anything, please let me know.

Again, i feel really welcome here and now with friends.

Thanks Nick for the link, very interesting.

I just want to update all, the "little one" has no seats, no carpet (ugly), no rear door, no rear panels and all the floor is clean inside. I was able to bring some color back to the body but it will be gone in the future. I'm taking out the front window and rear window now, after that motor and parts will be next. :mrgreen:

My next priority to buy is a steering wheel, preferable original. If any body knows any person who's selling one , please pm the number. Or if anybody knows the size and type to adapt one temporary please let me know. :tu:

I will be posting more recent pics to show you how is it going.
It is a craving thing to restore it.
