Nice job with photoshop
While I like the looks of the chop, it's just not feasable on these cars unless you're on the short side..
I looked into chopping mine (3.5" front / 2.5" rear- anything less seems too much work for too little gain) but it just doesn't work for me.. I'm 6'2", and need every inch of headroom that Honda gave (even with smaller than OEM seats laid back a bit and wayyy down on the floor).. Not only that, but our windshields are pretty rare.. I'd hate to $crew up more than a few trying to get one cut just right.. also, the other 5 windows are all curved and would need to be replaced with flat glass.. all do-able, but not the direction I ended up going..
Since your top is already cut off (you might want to run a couple of reinforcing frame ribs down your floor pan), what about just running it topless? Maybe lay the windshield back another 3 or 4 degrees and chop it by about 2 or 3"? (so much for not wanting to cut a stock n600 windshield

) (you could also cut off the chrome around the door glass of course). It would really set the car off..
If you HAD to have a roof, tell dad it would be a chance to learn how to make a removable fiberglass top!
Let us know what you do- it will be different no matter what
