i see, was that a must required swap or more for handling the power of the newer engine
a friend close to me is selling a cressida just like yours but it needs the whole engine and tranny new so i thought about putting everything of another toyota just like the way you did

originally did it for the LSD and rear disk brakes and rear camber was a plus as well ;)

Mine wont hardly idle, i'm suspecting valve or valve seat issues... gotta do a leakdown test to check.
all that just means an excuse for a swap 8)

are these cars known to tap? or have noisy valves?

my 4m is pretty noisy.... and it cranks really hard, often taking a few tries to start.


but the damn thing pulls pretty hard for a 30 year old motor

My valves are a lil noisy but not bad...most likely from driving it hard as hell almost everyday and ive owned the car 5 yrs now And yeah it still pulls damn hard for a 30 yr old motor too :)
