Does anyone know of a decent place to order Tomica/choro-Q stuff? I used to use ToyEast, but their website doesnt show any Tomica anymore.

Don't know what happened with Toyeast, but I do know they did not fulfill a lot of orders and a lot of people got ripped-off. I was lucky as my last order from 2010 went through fine.

If you can buy stuff directly from Japan, it's no problem getting Choro-Q, otherwise only good recommendation is eBay.

Thats what i've been doing, but its a bit pricey.I usually just make one big order from one seller to save on shipping, but they're alway so limited as far as what they have.I have been able to find a few rare ones, like the tomica limited vintage LV24a Crown. I've been looking for that one for almost a year, lol.

Here's a list of possible sources, as taken from my post on the Tomica Fan Club...

Hobby Link Japan

Hobby World Japan Hobby Supermarket

Mono-Rev

Sunupapa - CAUTION - 5/16 - we've received at least one notice about orders not being fulfilled and emails going unanswered. Order with caution. If anyone has further details, please let us know.

Toyeast - WARNING! LINK DISABLED. At the end of 2010 Toyeast disappeared from eBay, and early in 2011 Tomica was dropped from their website. Customer inquiries are going unanswered and their website has not been updated to reflect any eBay or Tomica adverts. Due to these factors we have disabled the link to Toyeast.

My paint and brushes and practically everything are all old and worn out, so I couldn't paint the whole thing a scheme I wanted. I'm sure I'll take the whole thing apart and paint the body, cage, and interior when I can afford new paint and brushes sometime.

I painted the inside of the barrels and the spokes of the wheels red just kinda 'because', and they turned out rather nice I think. My orange paint became separated in the year or two since I'd last used it, so no front side markers or tail light detail. All of my paints are at least somewhat screwed-up. :-/ C'est la vie, eh?

I can't wait! I love the 'Real Riders" on Hot Wheels cars. I've already got a couple of 510s on my desk here at work, I want to add some more. :D
