I'll pitch also and bring food or drinks. Sounds like this is gaining a little momentum, it would be cool if Eric brought one of JDM Legends cars.

Since I posted last I now have a Japanese car, not nostalgic but it's a start. Haha.

I'll bring foods or meat to BBQ. If y'all want I could make some Char Siu Pork, excellent Chinese style stuffs. Whatever I'm down to oogle y'alls rides and meet new people around Utah.

Is there a way to edit the title or the first post to show the tentative date/time? Not that the entire thread isn't worth reading of course.

I will go over to the park offices on Monday and see what I can arrange. I will report back.

Well, it was going so well up to this point. We may have to get creative. Murray park and all other parks in Murray actually are booked solid. Should have known this time of year. I checked the next day, Sunday the 14th. It had a few parks that had pavilions but still none available in Murray Park itself.

I think the current date and time of August 13th at 6:00 is great. Any other location ideas? We can check other parks throughout the valley that may have an available pavilion. We could take our chances in finding a group of empty parking spaces near some grass and tables. (there are a couple of nice areas in Murray Park that have tables near parking but are not 'reservable') With it being in the evening, we would not need a shade structure. Do we dare play the first come first served game with 12+ cars?...

If all fails, there is a park with a pavilion and play ground and even baseball diamond by my place that is more than big enough and almost certainly empty. Address is about 7800s 900e.

That's a nice park! I know where it is. There's also my neighborhood's park, but it's a ways further south in traverse mountain..... I'm sure we can find somewhere.

I am game for most locations. If you can't secure a place we may want to focus on a location with plentiful parking, but if we are game to play first come, then I will go with that also.

I am more than happy to meet anywhere from Provo to Bountiful. I'm sure we can find a good place with a pavilion we can use and BBQ at and stuff.

that park by my place is "high point park (7800s 1000e sandy, utah)" pavilion is available to reserve for 24.50$ for a half day from 4pm to 10pm aug the 13th.

if its a good park for everyone, we can reserve it or just hope that nobody else will be using it. like i stated earlier, about 99% of the time, the place is completely empty so i doubt we would have problems if we just crashed the place.

let me know what you guys think.

I agree. That's a great park. I'm all for reserving it and pitching in so we are certain we get it. And we could almost push you car there, Derek :P

Same here. I will be there, just may be in my altima if the corolla isn't licensed and driving well.

I would love to see the Previa too. Everyone needs to come no matter what they drive then make contacts to help get the J-Tin on the road for next time. You can set up pictures of the car that couldn't make it  Sounds like this location is pretty close to some of us.
