hey guys, saw this thread and thought i would post up my current project. got it off a mate for $200 with new tyres, exhaust and chain. the wiring is a birds nest, so will have to rewire it and will also have to fit some lights and indicators to pass inspection.
this is how i got it.

the 1st think to go was the exhaust. cut off the standard on and welded on a 1 5/8 pipe onto it.

dont worry, i have cut it off inline with the rear wheel.
plan is to finish with a mount on the swing arm, then cover it in black exhaust/header wrap.
when i started messing with the handle bar position, my mate said he had a surprise for me. he came out with these awesome bars he knocked up.

simply awesome.
further plans are to repair/replace the seat, rewire and get it running, hard tail and lower the rear, then just enjoy roaming the streets with my friends when the good weather decides to turn up.
