some pics of the wagon from today's canyon run. The car performed much better then expected out there. The front end is definately too soft for my taste, but all in all she held her own in the twisties and I came home in once piece so that in itself is a bonus. Here are the pics I took along the way.

pertano you are always driving beautiful cars. I am enjoying your ex celica automatic ST. Driving it to work and clicking at a 200 miles commute a week on an average. Rebuilt a couple steering related things and carb. Running strong I had to work or I would have joined you all for the pre fathers day run.....so when is the next run? Hopefully on a Sunday as I work on Saturdays

Thanks, but this car still needs alot of work IMO. I do enjoy it alot though. I am thinking we might do another one of thse real soon. I will definately let you know as we get closer. Not sure about a sunday though. Saturday always seems to fit everyones schedule a little better the a sunday.

Either way I am very happy to hear that the Celica is working out for you. That is a remarkable little car.

So on my never ending quest to prove that these vintage japanese cars are as useful and good looking as anything else on the road, I tried to up the anty a little bit this past week. First task was to take my trailer back to the storage lot where it is held. My Dad was down and on the spur of the moment decided to sell his truck which left the trailer stranded here in front of the house. I pondered over the idea for about 2 mintues which was the amount of time it took me to get the keys and hook the trailer up to the wagon and set off to tow it back to the lot. LOL!!! It was a blast. Now I'd never actually tow it with anything loaded on it, but it definately was a show for those who saw it going down the freeway at 70 mph pulling an 18 foot car hauler. I even got a thumbs up froma guy in a lowered chevy dually pulling a 65 mustang coupe on the back of his trailer.

Next up on the list was an event put on by TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. SEMA was sponsoring a collector car event at the track and since my son and I frequent that track almost every saturday we loaded up in the MKII and headed out. The car had a mixed reaction as I kind of expected. Either way it was fun to get out on the track and now the Corona has been on both southern california speedways.

I had to work on the wiring last night at work and took a couple more pic's.
I lost the running lights and need to replace a relay now. That should be fun to find. So if anyone knows where I can find the park light/dimmer relay for this thing don't be afraid to tell me.

I have a PDF wiring diagram for this car, but it wont let me attach it to this post... let me know if you need it and I'll figure out a way to get it to you.

It doesnt really show relay locations but it is a complete schematic.
