Just woke up after a few hours of sleep. Slept in the backseat at a rest stop, backseat was more comfortable than my VR4. In Kentucky now, hung out with a gvr4 buddy last night for a bit to relax and let the car cool off some. Aiming to be in Nebraska tonight and then go from there.

About 1400 miles till Portland, OR then I'm in the home stretch. Once there I'm crashing till morning

So far this trip I have learned I need to find a new/better radiator when I get home. It works great at night when it's cool out, but come noon the next day and till nightfall it sucks a big one lol. Been taking periodic prolonged stops to allow the motor to cool some before continuing, like I am doing right now here in Wyoming.

Otherwise for a car I just done wrenching on for a week straight and running well again on Thursday then taking on this journey Friday, I'm more than satisfied with how it's been running.

Idaho! Isn't there some members in Boise? I'll be padding right through there, I think. Yeah I learned ascending to high altitude + this car is fml in terms of speed. I already only cruise at 60/65, I never knew 50mph could feel so slow till I arrived in Wyoming yesterday.

Back in WA, still got a fee hours to go from the eastern side to western side of the mountains. Nonetheless it's been an adventure, but I'm glad it's ending very soon! Tired and need a shower.

Good luck! I attempted a cross country trip in a JNC once too.... :oops:

Just a healthy reminder that shit happens. It still haunts me every day, almost 3 years later.

Trip ended June 14th when I arrived home that morning. Just got the windows tinted. Sucks to see that celica like that. Just need to make it to a meet one of these days. Lately just been stripping my galant vr4 rustbucket before I scrap it.
