195/50/15 on 15x7 & 205/50/15 on 15x7.5 (pretty close to what a 205/60/14 would be, aspect-ratio-wise) ....& lets see those scanned pics!!

....times are tough. (more like I just need some mental space that isn't clogged with project cars screaming for love and attention...remember,
I own thirteen vintage Japanese cars right now. )

...an so I'm probably going to let the Sapporo technica find another more loving and caring home. hopefully someone who has the space in their garage, and the desire to keep her unmolested (or modded correctly) and honored.

...not really in a hurry, but wanted to let everyone here know before I went and did something rash like post it on CL or Ebay.

you guys all know what I've got into it. willing to sell with or without SSR wheels or some combo therein. I've got 16x8 rota grids on it right now... & it's still just as beautiful as in the photos.

I'll also be selling two Datsun 510 wagons and a 86 cressida MX72. (keeping the mazda RX2, subaru van, Datsun 1200, 510 race car, and my mitsubishi van fleet.)

...let me know if anyone is seriously interested. after all of the work performed (not including the wheels) I'd say it's a 2,000$ car. with SSRs, 3,000$. Hope somebody's ready to roll through town and turn some heads!

-Forrest

If this is still available in the spring, I may take you up on that. You know I love this car.

if only I had the money. I love the technica. I dont thikn i could do another 5 speed swap. I'm so tired of them. Good price on the car though. Those vans pop up at the most random moments on craigslist, They usually pop up in 2s too. I broke the timing belt on mine the other day. I still havent decided if im gonna junk it or fix it with the parts I bought awhile back. If it was straight I would definately fix it but since its so beat up...

I quite wish this car was in So-Cal... I'm on the lookout for an interesting vintage coupe. This fits that description, and happens to be at a great price. I'm looking for something with a manual, but could make an exception for the first time in my life on account of that fantastic interior and the car's story in general.

You're not planning any road trips down south with the car, are you?

glad you're hyped on the Sapporo style...and yes, I agree this is a rare exception to the absolute need of a 5 speed...the car is so "luxury coupe" the 5 speed is not really right...(and besides, if you want "fast" we all know you don't start out with something like this!!)

Man up and come get the thing! it ain't that far!

I agree with the IRS and 4G63...might be holding onto her if that were the case!

took a few new shots this evening for the "for sale" ad...
personally, I like the SSRs better than the current wheel setup...but they do match well (red pinstripe!)
