Ok good, you are a real Célica fan.
I'm still looking for a GT2000 or a RA28, and I need luck, more and more rare, but I'm optimist...

Well i finally found the time to post this on the forum.

To keep the story short after the celica didint start last summer (bad battery wires), i stored it in my garage and didint move it for over a year. And this winter we had very cold weather, and.... the coolant froze in tne block, luckelly it didint crack it, it only blew through the head gasket in the cylinders (No 1 and 4). When the weather started to get a lil warmer the ice melted and guess what, fused the pistons to the cylinders. Went to start it this summer - wouldnt crank, new battery - nothing, tried turning it by hand - wouldnt budge. So... time for a rebuild.
Tore the engine down, and found a couple of pistons that would not come out of the block (used a hammer for that), the rust was so deep that we had to bore it out to 88mm (i could have gone with 89, but my engine builder sayied my oem cams wouldnt be enough for any more than a 1700cc engine), had new pistons made, posted the head and intake manifold myself, had it machined 0.5mm, and had a little thinner head gasket made, so compression ratios was 10.4:1. Everything else was left stock for now. And as long as im doing the engine might as well do the whole car. When i took the kitt off, found alot of rust, and found the cars factory color. Pics coming soon
