Hi all,

Just last weekend I bought my dad's GC hardtop. It's got the original 4G32 with twin solex carb's with a paper filter, #4 cam, extractors, Scorpion struts, decarbon shocks on the rear( which Bilstein copied the design for their shocks), CSA rims and seats out of a 87 Integra.

The plan for the short term is to tidy it up such as put new carpet in it, re-paint the badges and tail light surrounds and maybe put a another set of rims on it ( I have my eye on a set which next to the car look great and are at a good price, just need to save some money for them) and fit the factory twin tail pipe that came on the UK one's and GTO's.

Long term is to respray it in the same red (to fix up the few imperfections it has with the paint) and maybe go the 4G63 N/A twincam route.

There's so much win in this car right here! It's a shame I couldn't get.out to the paramatta park meet the other weekend, I would have loved to have seen it. Ours would make a great pair!

If we both go out to the Jap Car Show, maybe we can set up next to each other. I'm also really keen to see your one.

I think they come up for sale second hand every know and then. The guy that my dad bought it of fitted it to them more than six years ago.

Looking good Nath. It's a great example of one, just as good in real life too.
What rims do you have planned for it?

Yep, would have been good to meet up. Looking forward to seeing your hardtop.

Very nice Nathan,
A set of 15 or 16"Superlites would look awesome. :-)

Yeah I'm thinking something along the Superlite style.
I found some Rota Rb's at a good price and they looked great when I sat them next to the Galant.
If they're still available when I have the funds then I might get them.

Here's a pic of what the RB's look like.

Nathan, type in Rota rb on Ebay US - they're less than half that price! Shipping is obviously the issue.......
The superlites are under $150 a rim here!

That's the same price I paid for Sperlites about 13 years ago.
I ask a tyre shop for a price about a year ago and they told me $200 a rim.

Yeah the set I'm looking at are less than half of that as well except I don't have to pay for freight.

Nathan,
maybe you need to find a better dealer - they're around $150 a rim (they vary of course depending on configuration and can go up to $200 but most sizes are way cheaper)
