What are using to lower your car, Shane? I forgot, it's been awhile. Also, how is the ride quality... with or without a full load? :)

Well its still kind of up in the air, but currently I'm planning on air suspension. Going to try a few ideas for the front suspension out on the spare chassis, rear is going to be easy. Right now I'm on sustech springs and camaro/sw20 shocks/struts, and it rides pretty rough (using a 1/4" thick urethane bushing as a bump stop, and damn near resting on it). I'm going to start mock up of new suspension when weather gets better.

okay, ordered/received lots of ish this weekend.

- slambags #2200 for the front and f/s #2500 bags for the rear.
- T3 camber plates
- T3 RCAs for clearance
- sw20 front struts for the front (replacing my current sw20 rears)
- airbagit.com 5gal tank with 4 3-position valves (same as 8 standard valves)

The plan currently is to shorten the strut tube more for use with the sw20 front struts. Then shave the spring seat off the strut. The front sway bar is coming out, and I'm going to be building a mount on the lower control arm, and building a bracket off the inner wheel well, which will also tie into the upper strut tower for support. Rear is going to be easy, cutting the bump stop housing out (about 3") and welding a bracket to the upper spring seat for the top of the #2500, the lower control arm only needs a hold drilled into it, and it will make a perfect lower mount. The only snag I might run into is tie rod clearance in the front. I don't want to have to notch the unibody, but it's an option.

Hoping to start this next week when the T3 parts get here. I'll update :D.

Can't wait. :tu:

Will it be controllable from inside the car with a reasonably fast rise and drop?

Not going to be too horribly fast, just 3/8s fittings, but ill be able to control it from inside. It'll be fast enough :)

Shane, both your cars, got an awesome slammed stance. :tu:

Do you ever get ticketed or pulled over, for having such a LOW ride? :)

Nope. Cops where I'm at don't look twice. There's enough "race cars" driving around that they don't really bother me. To most people its a grandpa car, even slammed, lol.

Lucky. I ENVY you Washington/Oregon guys... 1st, you guys have the cleanest, rust-free JNCs aside from Florida and California... and 2nd, you guys got the most laid-back police out there. :P

Now, can you bring a slammed car like that, in for an inspection sticker... and have it PASS, just like that?

We don't need inspection stickers or emission testing in my county :).

You can't?!? :P

FYI, Oklahoma (and several other states) don't have inspections either. 8)

Here in Texas, JNC's just need lights, brakes, and a horn. :tu:

that was the one thing i loved about being in WA. i never even did emissions on my 81 celica and when i got an 85 i only did the test once , passed and never had to do it again because it just hit the 25 year mark. Now that im in OR i have to get the 81 tested. just went this last week and failed... need to get together with my friend so i can pass and then switch everything over

You LUCKY bastards, in other states. Next, you're gonna tell me... marijuana is legal there, too. LOL

I feel like I'm living in Communist Russia. :(

Washington pot basically is. All you need is a green card which is super simple to get, I mean you don't even have to be truly hurt to get it. I think you have to pay like 50 bucks or somethin like that for a green card hahahaha.

UPDATE! T3 stuff is very nice, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package, good quality over-built parts! Should be starting this next week hopefully. I need to get rolling on my s13, but that should be done very soon.
