Awesome.

Is it going to stop there?

You know what you need to complete the set?

A red one... :P

Hector, more pictures of the vans please, what engines do they use, I have been driving these things constantly since 1984 but I only have 1 at a time except for 1989 when I had 2 for about 6 months, current one is a 1994 auto starwagon with the 4G63 SOHC carby engine that blows healthy amounts of blue smoke. Better than a morning coffee to get you going, just inhale the sweet smoke

howdy! I just spent a month in Brisbane, literally one week before the floods!... I got some starwagon/delica parts from Salisbury wreckers, and a week later I saw pictures of the whole place underwater on the news! crazy!

...it was six or seven years ago, my first trip to Australia...and the mitsubishi vans were everywhere! I was blown away! (maybe not as plentiful as the Hiace, but compared to here in the states...you've got TONS!)

there are maybe a few dozen of these vans still on the road in the entire state of california!

you should be sending us pics!

Well Hector, I reckon you were lucky to get those parts as the area around Salisbury wreckers was very hard hit, they may have survived though not sure as I am from the other side of town, the dry side, I can't believe that with the warnings of the flood waters rising more stuff was not moved.

The Mitsubishi vans here that are sold locally are very boring, all white ones, back a decade ago when the Starwagons sold you could get a few colours, I think Mitsubishi Australia imports the cheapest variant it can get, jump across the Tasman to NZ and they seem to be different again, all the glass vans, interestingly though they opt for column gear shift where all ours are floor shift, 2 seater front

i really dig the two-tone grey one, with the roof racks. what's the name of these models? I never see any around, are they rare at all?

I have three of these vans for sale. (the two runners are in the middle of the second pic) I'd like to sell as a package to someone. here's the deal:
1: white cargo, brown interior, 180k. mi.-ish body is great. runs decent, trans shifts a bit hard (needs tires soon)
2: two-tone gray/silver passenger, gray interior, 160k. mi.-ish body has a few dings, runs decent but burns a bit of oil.
3: silver passenger (parts van) missing bits, rolls & has title.

3k $ for all three. (that is considerably less than I paid for the vans, (not to mention flying/driving almost 1000 miles to get one... and the starion 16" wheels and new tires on the passenger van)

at least one of the running vans will be smogged, and regg'ed. at time of sale.

just ready to be done with these, I've got another van that works better for my needs (1 ton diesel 4x4)

707-321-8209. text or leave a message and I will return it.

-Forrest
