so today, while i was working at my uncle's restaurant i noticed a sunny yellow nostalgic honda hatchback.
it belonged to one of our regular customers and i struck up a conversation with him about it. i guess he drove all the way to idaho from seattle to pick it up. on his way back across the mountains the engine went caput.
he decided to make a few changes. see if you can spot something missing in the back here. that's right! there's no exhaust! what the!?
why would he be missing the exhaust? oh, cause it's an electric car!
definitely not something you see everyday! hahaha. i forgot to ask him the range and i didn't see where the batteries were. he says he did this himself with another person. he is also looking for a 5spd manual transmission for this '77 cvcc (but he thinks a '76 would work too). i know almost nothing about these old hondas but i told him i'd ask the gurus on here. if anybody is selling one around the seattle area let me know and i'll forward the info to him too.
i suggested he sign up on jnc to meet new peeps and perhaps find the parts/info he needs.
