Hope all of the JNC members and their families living in Japan are ok.

The tsunami looks pretty bad.
best wishes to you all

The earthquake rocked us pretty good here in Nagoya, no real damage, but some good shakes. No tsunami stuff here yet though, hopefully it stays that way. Looks much much worse north of here.

Pretty sobering stuff.
Best wishes to those north of me!

We're so fragile and we don't even realize it most of the time. My thoughts and prayers are with those affected.

too bad..
They way I look at it, you cant worry or be upset about something you cant control.

The Japanese will rebuild stronger and better now.

Hello to everybody, it is really terrible!!! We think of them very strong in France and in the world. If the forums of Japanese cars of the whole world could make a gesture(movement) to help them, me, I am ready for this human adventure...

Offering to help as volunteer workers would be a pretty good excuse to visit Japan for the summer..

In addition to individual donations, the TEAM GO ON would like to aid with humility Japan people.

So per each bought TEAM GO ON japan rising sun sticker (5€), we donate 2€ to international aid...

There is obviously a huge emotional, personal, and economic impact, but one must ask, what museums might have been affected? What priceless JNC artifacts are lost forever? I mean, if a natural disaster struck Washington, DC, eventually someone would have to ask about the Smithsonian and the Wright Brothers' airplane. I don't want to seem callous.

I don't think you are being callous- the same thought has crossed my mind too. Doesn't mean you don't care about those affected...

Thanks Vince!

I have manually activated yours and Davids accounts at nzdatsun.com......the email must have gone to your junk mail or something.

Fortunately all our members and friends/family have survived the Christchurch earthquake....only a couple of members got minor damage to their cars 8)

We are getting a new batch of t-shirts made shortly....we actually spoke about it today at our committee meeting, and I said that I would ask you and David what size T-shirt you wanted? (and what color.....blue or grey)
or we are making "hoodies" aswell if you would prefer.

send me an email...... mydatsun@hotmail.com

CNN's interactive map had a red arrow over Tokyo's bay front with the caption "Massive fires in Odaiba", but no details.

A little more digging, it sounds like only one building.

The Telecom Center Building, between Megaweb and the Miraikan museum, as seen in the background of all the Odaiba drift and car show photos and videos.
