If you have the time, you could always just take it apart, cut one coil, put it back together, see where you are?

Not low enough? Cut another 1/2 coil.

Repeat as necessary. :tu:

I'm running on a stupid low budget so cutting is the only way I can go.

Yeah, start with one, then go either 1/4 or 1/2 at a time from there. :tu:

Anything more than 1.5-2 coils and you will be hating life. Especially with that solid rear axle. You need to shorten the front struts and get MUCH shorter shocks in the rear to maintain a preload and not make you want to kill yourself every time you drive.

Ask me and my giant box of 20+ random cut springs and blown shocks how we know.

Oh and make sure you get an alignment unless you enjoy replacing tires every 3000 miles. :D

Seriously 1 couild wont do anything.
youll need to cut them pretty much in half (im speaking from experience)

problem is the shock has a stroke of 220mm so you will need to get down to 150mm or so and lose your bump stops.

These guys are right, get some better springs. If you cant afford, get springs with approx 8 coils and 11-12mm wire diameter and cut them to suit.

my ke35 had "super low" springs with a coil cut off......

This is with stock front springs cut in half. Yeah it was low but it was miserable. The front isn't as big of a deal as the rear. With the rear being so light, you must use a shorter shock to maintain a preload or you'll be at the chiropractor every week.

again, with your budget, cut 2 turns off coils and use 3" blocks in rear. if you had some coin to spend, i would recommend different.
