Re-release of the Equip 02 would be rad

On topic, I reckon these would look mint on an MX73/MZ12/similarly shaped car

I spoke to a fellow at Work USA (awesome people to deal with BTW) and he said they have "serious brake cooling issues" and that they'd never re-release them. He was as sad as I was. I want a set for the RX-7. Screw five-lugs.

OEM wheels have the steel insert.
After market wheels usually have the lug hole machined out of solid aluminum with no insert.

If you put the wheel on a mill with a turntable, you could machine the larger holes to accept the steel insert and install it in the after market wheel.
Because the holes for the insert are larger than the lug hole, it may be possible that the machined holes for 4x110 would completely overlap the original holes. There would be nothing to fill, simply install the steel inserts and the wheels have been modified to fit the different bolt pattern.

I don't see how the 02's would have any worse brake cooling issues than the SSR Mark I, and they're still in production?
Weird :?
