They did on the Florian (car version of the LUV)...

Those truck based car-type utes are WEIRD... they're supposedly, trucks with the extended roof like a car??

Like the Datsun U620...

<img src="http://home.sprintmail.com/~cathbrown/doug/double_cust.jpg">

Rear view of U620... (not sure if this is, actually the back of a U620... it kinda looks more like a Toyota Crown ute, judging by the front and side styling).
<img src="http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa40/steroid620/Cal22pg137.jpg">

Looks awesome on the Ford All-Sport, Chevy Avalanche, and the Honda Ridgeline........... on the Datsun, not so much. It looks like an ugly lifted car, kinda like those AMC Eagles. :roll: :td:

That's a bit different than the Florian. It's a truck frame, truck nose, car back half. So it's totally a car, not a ute. :tu:

Nice... it looks like an early 70's Toyota Corona. The concept of the U620 is weird, at some angles it looks like a bloated Datsun 610. :P

I have to say, the Florian is probably one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. And I am endlessly fascinated as a result. 8)

From that angle, it kinda looks like one of those old Peugeot 504s. :?

Florians are an awesome car (i have owned 4 of them so far)! they are not fast and they handle like a lounge chair, but i would kill to own another, i have in my shed nearly everything but the shell, suspension and seats for one....
florians actually sparked my interest in chev luvs/ eraly kb holdens, and i would love to put the florian nose on a chev luv just for the what the? factor!

I like the front of the Florian, but the never came here! I think that front would look good on a KB 20! Maybe you now about the website luvtruck.com if not, its really cool!

Thanks john!

Should be ordering some exhaust parts over the next few weeks. The current exhaust is in complete shambles. Also, plans are in the works for the engine swap which should happen hopefully by spring. Very excited!!

Found these while cleaning out my grandpas garage. Original plates for the truck. They have been cleaned and waxed since, probably one of the shiniest parts of the truck! :mrgreen:

Hope to make to the the Dept. of licensing to get these legally on the truck soon.
