I sold my car which was a Trooper 2.4cc Turbo 2 Doors year 1986. So i was told that a guy is selling a car. So we went to meet the guy. There i was jaw dropping n deep inside i feel that i muz hav this car. I fell in love with the car at 1st sight hehe :P Soon after i got this "skyline", a lot of things came to my mind n how it shud hav luk like. 1st..i drop this car at the bodywork shop which my fren introduced to me. The guy Andry is a fren to my fren. I was told that he can be gentle to this precious piece of mine :)

Lots of work to do but if you get her rustfree and painted again she will be a nice car and worth a lot of money!

I would use a color that fits the time the car was made in, no flashy modern stuff, just silver or brown, maybe white.
That looks good on this car.

Sori guys..ive been bz moving out to a new hse..hell was so caught up wit it..thx Datsun1600..yes, a lot of headache..recently got news that the whole rear suspension area is full wit rust...thnk god the car didnt break apart whn i was driving it..u like the rims?i kinda not ok wit it...as the offset kinda sad..i wud prefer a better rear wheel wit crazy offset tho :) well, as for nw i'll jz use it...going to use the money for bodywork..sure wil go for a better set of rims later on..Eric, thnk for ur comment. i reli appreciate it...but im tired of ordinary original paint color...thinking of trying sumting new..yet, i love this original datsun color Dark Blue / Blueish Black Metallic color code 826..jz by luking at the datsun color codes at http://www.ratdat.com/?p=340 but dun reli hav an idea how it luks like on a real car :D

I'm really surprised because the interior trim bits I can see look like they are in really good shape, but the car is very rusty.

I can't believe this actually drove. How can you possibly rebuild some of this (drivers side floor-up the subframe then into chassis rail. In that whole section their doesn't look like any useable original material.

This is a big project for you, just make sure you use more metal than bog.

Good luck.

gtrfan, kpgc10 & Drive510 : yeah..it does look like okay on the outside huh?that was what i thought also when i bought the car..when the car was stripped down naked..it was heart devastating..i feel so sad because it was not treated right by the previous owner and looks like it was dipped in salt water for a quite sometime. but, i feel happy because i love the car and im gonna restore it to its glory..thx for the uplifting spirit support & i know its gonna be a long tiring heartbreaking restoration :tu:

These are very cool cars, I hope to get a c210 sometime.

If you can make it happen and are passionate then I am sure it'll be awesome when finished. Good luck and I look forward to seeing more pics as work progresses.

I can imagine it would be difficult to keep a car from rusting especially during wet season there. Make sure you treat the car well it would be a shame for rust to come back after it has been painted.
The VIN number on the ID look like they have been changed at some stage?

Guh! Rust, hatehatehate, HATE IT! Can you tell I hate rust? Your doing it the right and once your done I'm sure your going to have to look at her with sunglasses on. :D So what will you seal the body with once you get all the rust gone and repaired? I suggest a product call Por-15, it's pricey but well worth it.
