Hey Guys,
Planning a trip to Japan.

Want to go in the warmer months, for obvious reasons.
Girls, Cars, Girls :)

Want to know some tips, places to see from people who have been?

Also anyone know of any good car shows on over there, if so I will plan my trip around this.

Thanks in advance

Luke

where are you flying into?
i lived near osaka and hiroshima for a year. the most enjoyable things i have done are always in the country side. and there are cool car shops in even the small towns so you dont miss out on much if you try to stay away from the big cities.
i am going this summer as well. if you go in mid to late may, you will have cooler weather and get there before the rainy season.
im going to rent a car this year. there is a group of us going so it will be cheaper than having to pay for a JR pass. plus the train system is smaller in the country side.
let me know if you have any questions about japan. i have friends there that can do some good research.

I am going to back up Rsport on this one. The country-side is super cool.

When I visited, my brother lived in a place called Okayama ( spelling? ) Its a medium city with a shinkansen stop. 20 mins riding bikes and we were out in the cuts. Old graveyards, hella old temples, and people are more interested in you ( especially if your white )

Honestly I had way more fun in the smaller city than Tokyo. That being said, one of the big cities is not to be missed!

Besides knowing you want to see cars and girls, do have have any sort of itinerary yet?

Where you flying in to, and how long you staying?

For girls, they are everywhere. Half the population is female. You can't miss 'em!

For cars - countryside & suburbs.

General info - http://www.japan-guide.com/

Just a few things for now....

KANTO
Tokyo
Tokyo Station TOMICA SHOP :P
Roppongi Hills - fun nightlife with foriegners - not my scene, so never been.
Harajuku for the latest youth scene.
Akihabara for electronics and more.

Tochigi
Twin Ring Motegi & Honda Museum

Gunma
Ikaho Automobile Museum
Maehara 20th Museum
