Your good man I was just kidding lol. And thanks! Im gonna keep the paint(or whats left) the way it is but am gonna fix small things here and there as well as deleting a few badges and jus prime over them. I may paint it one day but for now I have to paint one of my other projects that I have been working on for 3 years lol.

And I will prob just put a header, cam, holley 2bbl, electronic ignition and hotter coil on it before the engines completely done. But for now Ill just fix the brakes and put her on the road.

Thanks bud. A 74 VW bug. Full ground-up restoration. Had to have floor pans, quarter patches and a rear apron. All the metal work is done except for fixing the fenders, painting and assembling. I built the engine with a fairly large cam, dual webers, ceramic coated header and mufflers, electronic ignition and a centrifugal advance distributor plus more. Im putting older bumpers, lights, fenders etc. on it as well. And she is low 8)

Heres a pic of the chassis and you can kinda see the body(gray) in the background

Is that a 1982? I had an 82 Corolla SR5 1.8 coupe, just like that. I kept it for 3 years..... till I sold it.

It was originally, gray/black factory 2 tone. I then painted it lavender, then electric blue. This was around '91... when loud colors were the style in the import compact car scene. :)

We were holding it down in the 80's and 90's... WAY before, everybody started liking older RWD Toyotas, Datsuns and Mazdas.

The boricuas were reppin' the old school large, back then. We would go to Lawrence, MA for all our old skool Toyota needs... JDM old school rims, wooden steering wheels, weber carbs, ground effects kits, and rear spoilers.

I still rep the RWD Jap-tin old school... I own an 81 Toyota Corona and an 87 Nissan 200sx S12. They'll both be painted and lowered by this spring or early summer. 8)
