oh WOW those are amazing! I wonder what other mods had been done to the engine to make that Astron wake up! Do you know if it's a 2.0 or 2.6?

I sold that header along with the car yesterday to someone who will love it more than me.

I can only imagine how few of those headers still exist. Maybe worse is that I threw away the Pacesetter header that was on it prior. Smart kid but no guidance...

That was one great looking header - 1st one of those I ever saw. I have had a Cyclone anti-reversionary header on my 1980 D-50 sport, a pacesetter is on it now (1st gen) and I have the doug thorley tri-y in chrome new in the box for it when i rebuild the original motor. That had to be a 70's piece because when I tried to buy a hooker header for the 2.6 in 81-82, they were already out of production.

Hey, tlthehun, I checked hooker after you sent me some information about your header, including the receipt with the PN. Hooker do not make that header any more.

And the Doug Thorley header, I purchased the "last" one of those (it is also out of production) a few weeks back, and thought it was for an Arrow (car). Well, it does not fit, and must be the same chrome one that fits the other poster's truck. So I got something I don't need.

I will end up getting a header custom made - maybe I can salvage the Thorley, or will use the Hooker as a guide to the header fab dude. In a few weeks we will see what he fabs up.....
